Comisiones Obreras has made public this Tuesday a new agreement with Inditex that includes improvements in remuneration and various working conditions, including social aid linked to studies and illness situations.

According to the union's details in a note disseminated by Europa Press, the Inditex Fixed Income Guarantee (GIFI) will increase by 4% each year until 2028, as will its minimum amounts of 600 and 1,000 euros, with 4% back pay in 2025 and additional increases of 4% in 2026, 4% in 2027, and 4% in 2028.

Furthermore, it has been agreed to raise the price of the hour worked for part-time contracts, "directly improving" the GIFI calculation in those provinces where the ARTE collective agreement working hours apply or an annual working day of less than 1,826 hours.

The agreement also includes an increase of more than 12% in social aid and compensation for working Sundays and holidays, distributed in increases of 4% in 2026, 4% in 2027, and 4% in 2028.

CCOO also highlights the introduction of new social benefits for marriage or civil partnership; for university studies, vocational training, or higher education of the worker; for rare and severe illnesses; compensation for remote 'Big Store' work of 0.30 euros per hour, and the possibility of accessing a personal loan with 0% interest, among other measures.

In the area of permits and leave, two commitments have been reached: the establishment of a Working Group to negotiate the standardization of regulations on leave, holidays, and permits, and the maintenance, on a transitional basis while such negotiation lasts, of the current regulations that are most beneficial to the staff.
