ICEX has launched its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) competition with the aim of identifying and highlighting business projects that develop "innovative" solutions based on this technology, designed to facilitate the internationalization of Spanish companies.
As ICEX pointed out this Thursday in a statement, this call for entries, created with the support of IndesIA, Area101, and Ieteam, has just opened the registration period, which will remain available until June 12.
Reto IA focuses on identifying AI tools that allow for the reduction of operational costs, reinforce Spain's projection as a 'technological hub' for internationalization solutions, and promote the direct integration of AI into the processes and workflows of exporting companies.
The competition is aimed at 'startups' that design AI-based technological solutions capable of supporting companies in their international expansion strategy, "providing differential value, scalability, and real applicability" in different markets.
Regarding the prize, the winning company will receive a place for one of its employees in the International Trade Executive Master's program, valued at 9,800 euros, jointly offered by ICEX and the Garrigues Study Center, with a workload of 250 hours between September 2026 and January 2027.
