The French cosmetics giant L'Oréal recorded in the first half of the fiscal year net attributed profits of 3.547 billion euros, which represents an increase of 5.3% compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the company’s announcement.
The group's revenue reached 23.776 billion euros between January and June, 5.8% more in reported terms and 6.8% in comparable data, once excluding the impact of exchange rates and accounting perimeter variations. Between April and June, L'Oréal's business figure grew by 8.2% year-on-year, reaching 11.624 billion euros.
By lines of activity, sales of professional products increased by 14.7%, reaching 2.921 billion euros; the mass market business advanced by 2.7%, reaching 8.643 billion; while the luxury division reached 7.997 billion euros, 4.4% more. In parallel, the dermatological beauty branch increased its revenues by 9.3% year-on-year, reaching 4.216 billion euros.
Geographically, sales in Europe rose by 8%, reaching 8.134 billion euros, and in North America they increased by 4.2%, reaching 6.067 billion. In Latin America, the group's revenue advanced by 9%, reaching 1.814 billion, while in North Asia, revenues totaled 5.514 billion euros, 2.3% more.
For its part, the markets of North Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East contributed 2.247 billion euros, representing a growth of 9.2% compared to the revenues obtained in that region during the first half of 2025.
"L'Oréal had an excellent first half," declared Nicolas Hieronimus, CEO of the French company, emphasizing the widespread progress in all categories, divisions, and regions, driven by "the impeccable execution of our innovation strategy and our market-leading growth in e-commerce."
Regarding the second half of the year, the executive reaffirmed the group's confidence in the strength of demand for beauty products. "We believe we are exceptionally well prepared to continue outperforming the market and, despite the current context, achieve another year of growth in sales and profitability," he added.
