The president of the Spanish Association of Technology Companies in Defense, Security, Aeronautics and Space (TEDAE), Ricardo Martí Fluxá, has stated that the national defense industry has gained weight in the European context. According to him, the Spanish defense industry "has ceased to be a secondary player on the European security stage."

"We are here to build a safer Europe from Spain. It is the description of a reality built with sustained effort and with the conviction that a strong defense industry is not a dispensable solution, but a true primordial state necessity," he stressed.
At the same event, Lieutenant General and Director General of Strategy and Innovation of the Defense Industry, Miguel Ivorra Ruiz, has highlighted the commitment of companies to participate in Eurosatory, considering that their presence constitutes a "declaration of intent" for the firm will to compete and cooperate in the international market.
Ivorra Ruiz added that their objective is to "develop industrial and innovation policies that promote a robust, competitive, and, above all, diversified defense industrial and technological base that is capable of integrating large companies and SMEs."
In this regard, he insisted on the importance of projecting a solid image of the Spanish sector abroad. "We must demonstrate that the Spanish defense industry is a reliable and technologically advanced partner," he concluded.
