Vueling has launched, in collaboration with the tourism group Ávoris, a new platform for vacation packages that allows the booking of flights, hotel accommodation, and other additional services such as car rentals, insurance policies, or activities to be combined in a single operation, as both companies reported in a joint statement released this Wednesday.
Under the commercial name Vueling Holidays, the tool is operational on the airline's website, with Ávoris as the exclusive operator, and offers users vacation packages for all origins and destinations that Vueling currently operates.
According to Vueling's CCO, Miguel Henales, through this launch, the airline expands its value offering and "facilitates" the organization and booking of vacations for its clients directly from the platform.
From Ávoris, the director of strategic alliances for the travel division of Grupo Barceló, Jorge Carulla, has indicated that this collaboration allows Ávoris's full technological, contracting, and product development capacity to be placed at Vueling's service, thus building a solid, flexible, and scalable proposal.
According to data provided by both companies, Vueling Holidays generates new possibilities for cooperation with hotel chains, receptive companies, and other players in the tourism sector interested in joining Vueling's network, which includes 250 routes and more than 100 destinations in Spain, Europe, and North Africa.
