A 33-year-old worker has ended the lives of three colleagues with stabbings this Saturday at a cleaning products company Bombril, located in São Bernardo do Campo (São Paulo, Brazil), and subsequently committed suicide in the cell after being arrested by the authorities.
The attack occurred around 5:00 AM (local time) in the company's premises, in the Rudge Ramos neighborhood. According to the Police, the alleged aggressor, identified as Claudio Henrique da Silva, showed up at the workplace outside of his shift with the purpose of attacking three employees aged 39, 44, and 54.
According to the police report accessed by the newspaper "Folha de S.Paulo," several witnesses have reported that the attacker was a victim of workplace harassment by two of the deceased. The third person killed was stabbed while trying to intervene to stop the assault.
After the multiple stabbings, the Military Police arrested the man at the factory itself and transferred him to the local police station, where he took his own life inside the cell. The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) has indicated that the Internal Affairs Department has launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the suicide, while the Civil Police is in charge of the inquiries regarding the triple homicide.
