Iranian authorities have reported that at least fourteen people have lost their lives and around 80 have been injured during bombings carried out by the United States against Iranian territory in the last two days, aerial operations that, according to Tehran, took place in different areas of the country and have left about fifty injured still admitted.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Hosein Kermanpur, has denounced in a message published on social networks that the attacks occurred "while the ceasefire was in effect" and has specified that five Iranian provinces have been affected, with a toll of "fourteen martyrs and 78 injured," of whom 47 remain hospitalized receiving medical attention.

For their part, officials from Hormozgan province have told public television IRIB that at least three people have died and 15 have been injured in the bombings of the last few hours against the commercial port of the city of Sirik, attributed to US forces operating in the area.

"Of the 15 people injured by the attacks against the commercial port of Sirik, at least seven are receiving treatment outside the medical center, while eight have been admitted to the Minab hospital," these provincial sources have emphasized when detailing the situation of the victims.

Washington has executed successive waves of air attacks between Tuesday and Thursday, justifying them as a response to Iranian actions against ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic passage over which Tehran claims navigation should be coordinated with its forces until a definitive peace agreement is reached within the framework of the conflict opened in the Middle East by the Israeli-American offensive.

As a reprisal, Iran has launched missiles and drones against targets linked to the United States in several countries in the region, amid mutual accusations of violating the terms of the memorandum of understanding signed in June and warnings about the possible collapse of the ceasefire agreed on April 8, in which Israel also participates.
