The ultraconservative candidate for the October elections in Brazil, Flávio Bolsonaro, son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, has reiterated his accusations against the Brazilian judiciary, which he has again labeled as "corrupt," and has maintained that the judges will do everything possible to prevent his victory at the polls.
"This is what we are facing," he stated this Friday during a lunch with conservative political leaders and businessmen in Sao Paulo. "Corruption is in the highest echelons of the Brazilian Judiciary," he insisted, according to information published by the G1 portal.
Flávio has claimed that the judges are "terrified" at the possibility of him winning the elections and being able to make the "right decisions." According to him, they would even be willing to "overstep the limits of evil" in order to stop his rise to power.
"Do you understand the terror they feel towards those who want to come in and do the right thing, as we are going to do?" Flávio Bolsonaro asked the attendees, to whom he guaranteed that his father, Jair Bolsonaro, will accompany him up the ramp of the Palácio do Planalto at the inauguration ceremony if he ultimately emerges victorious.
