King Felipe VI will preside this Monday at the Congress of Deputies the ceremony for the awarding of the VI June 15 Prize for Constitutional Values, awarded by the association Spain Together We Add and which in this edition distinguishes the journalist Miguel Ángel Aguilar.
The Head of State will be received in the Floridablanca courtyard by the President of Congress, the socialist Francina Armengol; by the Minister of Digital Transformation and Public Function, Óscar López, and by the president of the association Spain Together We Add, Victoria Carvajal.
Next, accompanied by Armengol and the rest of the authorities, Felipe VI will receive the greeting of members of the Congress's Bureau, spokespersons from the different parliamentary groups, the Secretary of State for Relations with the Courts and Constitutional Affairs, Rafael Simancas, and the constitutional rapporteur Miquel Roca i Junyent.
Later, the procession will move to the Constitutional Hall, where the monarch will be greeted by the members of the jury of Spain Together We Add, by the director of the association, José Ignacio Prendes, and by the awardee in this sixth edition.
The President of Congress, Francina Armengol, will open the event with words of welcome. After her speech, Victoria Carvajal will speak on behalf of the association, and the minutes of the award concession will be read by José Ignacio Prendes, who was vice-president of Congress under Ana Pastor. To close the ceremony, the King will present the award to Miguel Ángel Aguilar.
