The pre-candidate for the National Presidency of Nuevas Generaciones, Antonio Landáburu, has reacted this Sunday to the celebration of the National Congress of Socialist Youth, stating that "if many young people hadn't even realized that they were celebrating their Congress today, it's normal: what a mess".
Landáburu has insisted that Socialist Youth "has once again shown that it has nothing to offer the young people of Spain" and has emphasized that "they only want to defend Pedro Sánchez, stay in power, and cover up the real problems of an entire generation with insults".
According to what he has explained, "young people are living through one of the worst moments in the history of our democracy: many cannot afford rent, cannot leave home, cannot make ends meet, and see how working no longer always allows them to build a life project".
In this regard, the 'popular' leader has reproached that, "while young people suffer the consequences of Sánchez's policies", Socialist Youth "does the only thing it knows how to do: insult the Popular Party".
"It's normal for them to insult the PP: defending the PSOE today is quite embarrassing," stated Landáburu, who listed "Ábalos, Koldo, Cerdán, Zapatero, and Sánchez" as "the names that explain the present of sad Spanish socialism".
The aspirant to lead NNGG has accused Socialist Youth of living "installed in a false moral superiority that no one believes anymore" and has added that "they are cornered and they know it." Faced with this scenario, he has advocated for the project of Nuevas Generaciones as "the young, brave, and uninhibited alternative to sanchismo."
"We are focused on our own: housing, work, freedom, Spain, and the future," he stressed. Furthermore, he underlined that the next National Congress of Nuevas Generaciones "will not be a congress to insult anyone, but to talk about the real problems of young people and how the Popular Party, with Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will bring opportunities back to Spain."
"They come to insult. We come to win," assured Landáburu, who has promised that NNGG "will fight the battle of ideas in the streets, on social media, in universities, in high schools, and in every corner of Spain." To conclude, he has sent a message to the young bases of the PP: "Without fear, without complexes, and go for it. Together we are more."
