The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has presented the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona as the symbol "of what we can achieve as a society" through the construction of "peace and cohesion through dialogue and mutual respect".

In a message disseminated on his social networks, Sánchez has highlighted that Pope XIV has granted his blessing to the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus Christ of the Sagrada Familia, considered the "most emblematic work" of the architect Antonio Gaudí. Of the modernist creator, he has underlined that he was the one who conceived "a meeting place where everyone would be welcome".

"One hundred years after his death, his legacy continues to inspire the whole world," the head of the Executive has pointed out in a publication on the social network 'X', collected by Europa Press.

In that same message, he reiterated that "The Sagrada Familia is the reflection of what we can achieve as a society, building peace and cohesion through dialogue and mutual respect".
