The national spokesperson for Security and Immigration of Vox, Samuel Vázquez, has denounced that Spaniards have been "abandoned to their fate" in Ceuta because, he claims, in the autonomous city "there is no one" to "protect" the Ceutians.
Vázquez has also attacked the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, whom he accuses of shielding "himself, his family, his political party, his organized gang, and also the businesses that keep him in power," statements he made before the media in Ceuta, accompanied by the spokesperson of Vox in the city, Juan Sergio Redondo.
In this line, he reproached that "no one" in the Executive takes care of safeguarding Spaniards "in floods, nor in fires, nor in the migratory invasion" and pointed out that some of the migrants who entered Ceuta irregularly explained that they were encouraged to cross the border after hearing that "in Spain everyone was being regularized."
In light of this scenario, Vázquez insisted that it will be Vox who defends "first" the human rights of the "children" of Spaniards and, especially, those of their "daughters," considering that this is the group whose rights are "most violated."
On the other hand, the president and spokesperson of Vox Ceuta, Juan Sergio Redondo, has pointed out that, despite the "express returns that seem to be happening en masse," in the city "hundreds of people continue to wander, generating problems and conflict situations."
