Familia Torres has achieved B Corp certification after comfortably exceeding the required standards, reaching 121.3 points compared to the minimum of 80. This recognition certifies that all its wineries meet demanding standards of social and environmental performance, as well as transparency and legal accountability.

As the company explained in a statement released this Monday, obtaining this seal validates the work carried out in recent years to align the business with criteria for positive impact and responsible management throughout the organization.

Its Director of Innovation and Sustainability, Mireia Torres, stated that the certification helps them integrate social, environmental, and financial sustainability into their decisions, the company reported this Monday in a statement.

Miguel Torres, also a member of the founding family, commented that the recognition "formalizes and makes visible" the work with respect to the land and the environment that has always been done.

The company emphasizes that this international seal highlights the positive impact of its business model, based on regenerative and ecological viticulture and the production of organic wines. In this way, its strategy is not limited to minimizing the potential negative effects of its activity, but rather aims to regenerate ecosystems, strengthen local communities, and preserve natural resources.

Furthermore, the certification reflects a particularly high score in how work is organized, recognizing a responsible operational model, supported by policies and operational practices that "improve" the impact on governance, people, the environment, the community, and the value chain.
