The Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has submitted to the Governing Council the balance of applications for aid from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) corresponding to the 2026 campaign, which amount to a total of 9,349 requests processed by the Ministry.
These aids are managed through the Single Application, the submission period for which concluded on May 15, and which groups more than 25 lines of support. Among them are the basic income support for sustainability, the redistributive support, the complement for young farmers, and the eco-schemes, aimed at promoting environmentally beneficial practices such as extensive grazing, direct sowing, or the creation of biodiversity spaces.
The Single Application also includes agri-environmental and compensatory measures linked to biodiversity protection, organic farming, and the maintenance of agricultural activity in areas with natural limitations.
From the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, progress is already being made in processing the more than 30,000 files submitted through this procedure. These aids are essential to guarantee the economic viability of the agricultural and livestock farms in the Region.
The payment calendar establishes that advances will begin to be paid from October 16, 2026.
