The president of the PP of Huelva, Manuel Andrés González, has emphasized that "the work of the Junta de Andalucía has made it possible for the aid from Doñana to reach the Northern Crown," while at the same time valuing the "generosity" shown by the farmers to reach the agreement.
These statements come after the provisional list of beneficiaries of the aid from the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge was made known. González has recalled that the Junta de Andalucía, which provides complementary funds, already has "the approved regulatory bases and the money allocated in the budget."
According to the PP in a note, in this first phase, the Junta allocates eight million euros to the first 400 hectares, with an initial forecast of 24 million for 1,200 hectares, and maintains its intention to expand the economic effort as the State resolves new aid in future calls.
Furthermore, he highlighted that one hundred percent of the plots included in the provisional resolution, still pending the definitive one, are located in the five municipalities of the Northern Crown of Doñana: Almonte, Bonares, Lucena del Puerto, Moguer, and Rociana del Condado. Precisely towards these localities are directed the complementary aids from the Andalusian Government.
"The Junta de Andalucía has been prepared from the very first moment," affirmed the popular leader from Huelva, who reiterated that "as soon as the central Government publishes the definitive resolution, the Junta will launch its call, as its aids are complementary to the state ones."
Free seedlings to promote renaturalization
González has stressed that the Junta de Andalucía is not limited to economic contribution, but will also provide the beneficiary farmers with free seedlings from the Network of Nurseries of Andalucía, as announced by the counselor of Sustainability and Environment, Fina Martínez.
"The Junta de Andalucía is not only going to provide aid to farmers, but also the material to start renaturalizing their farm from day one. For the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, farmers are the priority, and the commitment to the Northern Crown has been proven from the minute," he emphasized.
The president of the PP of Huelva has insisted that the conflict originated from "the disastrous management of the previous socialist governments, which created the problem in 2014 and then looked the other way for years," and has added that now, "thanks to the management of the Junta and the generosity of the farmers, a good agreement has been reached."
