The spokesperson for the PP parliamentary group in the Cortes, Ana Marín, has described the "deafening silence" that, in her opinion, the Aragonese PSOE of Pilar Alegría, CHA, and IU maintain regarding Zapatero's indictment as "striking and insulting." For this reason, she has demanded that they "show their faces and put an end to a government that is up to its neck in corruption, with no capacity for management or governance, and which, election after election, shows that it is rejected by the vast majority of citizens."

Marín considers that the PSOE is "absolutely collapsed" by corruption cases and states that she understands it tries to divert focus to other matters: "There isn't room for one more case," said the popular leader after learning of the indictment as an investigated party of the former President of the Government of Spain, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, for alleged crimes of influence peddling, criminal organization, forgery, and money laundering within the framework of the case concerning the rescue of the airline Plus Ultra with public money.

The PP spokesperson in the Cortes has emphasized the silence of the leader of the Aragonese PSOE, Pilar Alegría, whom she sees as "an accomplice to what is happening, either by action or omission, for not assuming her responsibilities to the citizens." Furthermore, she has reminded her of her words at the PSOE Aragón Congress in 2025, when she stated "everyone here loves you" and brought her "as a guest star" in her campaign to become general secretary.

"She remains silent, absolute silence, not one condemnation, nothing at all," Marín criticized Alegría, to whom she also brought up her links with those who appear in other alleged corruption cases such as José Luis Ábalos, Koldo García, and Santos Cerdán.

In Ana Marín's opinion, "this is no longer a coincidence" because Pilar Alegría "has called friends all those who are now proven to be involved in a corruption scheme using the PSOE and the Government of Spain for their personal and lucrative ends."

For this reason, she has demanded that she set aside her "partisan impulse" and assume the obligations that come with her position: "The great defender of the public does not show her face when hundreds of thousands of euros from Aragonese and all Spaniards have been diverted for the alleged enrichment of Zapatero."

The popular Ana Marín has also extended her reproaches to Chunta Aragonesista and Izquierda Unida-Sumar. In particular, she has addressed the president and spokesperson for CHA in the Cortes, Jorge Pueyo, to whom she has recalled that "his reference Rufián is devastated" and has asked him to firmly condemn the seriousness of the facts, "if he truly cares about the Aragonese or will demonstrate that what really concerns him is keeping his seat, whether in Madrid or Zaragoza".
