The former President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, along with the current leaders of communities such as Galicia, Aragón, Asturias, Extremadura, and Cantabria, as well as other institutional officials, will travel this Thursday to the Plenary Hall of the Cortes of Castilla y León to accompany the newly invested regional president, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, at his official swearing-in ceremony.

In addition to Mariano Rajoy, who already supported Alfonso Fernández Mañueco at his 2022 swearing-in ceremony, the former Vice President of the Government, Soraya Sáez de Santamaría, will also be present at the event.

Among the regional leaders who have confirmed their attendance are the president of Galicia, Alfonso Rueda; the president of Aragón, Jorge Azcón; the president of Asturias, Adrián Barbón; the president of Extremadura, María Guardiola; and the president of Cantabria, María José Sáenz de Buruaga, who will join other counterparts of Mañueco at the institutional event.

Likewise, Mañueco will also be accompanied by former presidents of the Junta de Castilla y León, former presidents of the Cortes, mayors, presidents of provincial councils, and a representative of the central government, among other authorities.

The swearing-in ceremony of Alfonso Fernández Mañueco will take place this Thursday at 12:00 PM in the plenary hall of the Cortes of Castilla y León building, after having been invested in the Plenary session held last Tuesday.
