The Prosecutor's Office of the Principality of Asturias has requested the Instruction Section of the Court of First Instance, seat number 1, of Oviedo, that the detainee for the death of two people, his sister and his brother-in-law, in Oviedo, be admitted to provisional communication prison without the possibility of bail.
According to the Public Ministry, the investigated person is charged with two counts of homicide/murder. The Prosecutor's Office has requested this precautionary measure due to the extreme seriousness of what happened and the high penalty that could be imposed in case of conviction, as well as for appreciating the risk of flight and recidivism.
The events occurred last Tuesday in the home that the accused and the victims shared on Vázquez de Mella street, in the Oviedo neighborhood of Vallobín.
The accused, who had already served a prison sentence for killing two other people in the 1980s, allegedly ended the lives of his sister and brother-in-law, whom he allegedly stabbed several times. It was a drug addict who went to the home to buy drugs who alerted the police and allowed the incident to be discovered.
