The company Whathefav, linked to Alba and Laura Zapatero, daughters of former Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, appears to be singled out in the Plus Ultra case investigation as a relevant piece within the corporate structure analyzed by the National High Court.
According to the judge's order, the company would have functioned as a "finalist company", intended to receive funds from both external clients and other corporate structures considered instrumental within the alleged network under investigation.
A company for receiving funds and redistributing payments
Magistrate José Luis Calama describes Whathefav as a company that would have carried out generic invoicing activities, in addition to acting as a channel for redistributing payments to the former Prime Minister's circle.
Within the framework of the investigation, the judge maintains that these types of companies would form part of a broader structure intended to channel economic movements from different business sources.
The contract with Análisis Relevante
One of the most notable elements of the case file is a contract dated June 1, 2020 between Whathefav and the company Análisis Relevante, linked to businessman Julio Martínez Martínez.
The agreement contemplated the design, development, and execution of a marketing program, in addition to promotion and market positioning services for the company.
This contract is considered by the investigation as one of the key connections between the companies in the business environment analyzed.
A corporate structure under analysis
The investigation places Whathefav within a group of companies that would have operated as nodes within a larger network, in which different companies would perform specific functions of invoicing, intermediation, or service provision.
The judge points out that these structures could have served to channel funds and economic movements between different actors in the business environment linked to the Plus Ultra case, although these conclusions are part of the investigative phase and are not yet judicially determined.
