Fires Catalonia concentrates this Saturday on Les Gavarres, where the fire originating in La Bisbal d’Empordà has already ravaged about 2,400 hectares. The fire has affected the surroundings of La Bisbal, Calonge, and other municipalities in Baix Empordà. The flames have reached homes in the Cabanyes urbanization in Calonge and have damaged houses, gardens, and fences, according to El País coverage.
