The WAH Space was the chosen venue to present MADRING, on a day where music, emotion, and spectacle also bore the WAH signature.
WAH was part of one of the most important milestones in Spanish sports by participating in the official presentation of MADRING, the new circuit that will host the Formula 1 Tag Heuer Spanish Grand Prix 2026.
The event brought together some of the main institutional and sports figures linked to the project, including Isabel Díaz Ayuso, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, Carlos Sainz, and Louise Young, Chief Race Promotion Officer of Formula 1, as well as representatives from IFEMA, the Royal Spanish Motorsport Federation, and other entities involved in the development of MADRING.
Beyond the presentation of the track, the day highlighted Madrid's ambition to become one of the major international benchmarks in sports and entertainment.
And WAH played a leading role in that story.
The Spanish Anthem to inaugurate a historic day
The day began with one of its most symbolic moments: the hoisting of the largest Spanish flag on a 54-meter-high mast.
To accompany this act, WAH created a special interpretation of the Spanish Anthem brought into its own artistic universe. An unprecedented adaptation that fused elements of opera, flamenco, and rock, combining tradition and contemporaneity in a staging conceived for the occasion.
The performance provided the soundtrack to an image that symbolized the union between sport, innovation, and international projection, bringing emotion and spectacle to one of the most representative moments of the day. A start befitting a project destined to mark a before and after in the history of Spanish motorsport.
An exclusive artistic production to present MADRING
After the inaugural ceremony, attendees moved to the WAH Space, where the official presentation of the circuit took place.
WAH was in charge of inaugurating the event with an artistic production created exclusively for the occasion: the interpretation of the anthem for Formula 1 in Madrid, an original composition created by WAH that is part of the project's sonic identity since its official presentation and represents Madrid's energy and international projection.
Performed live by WAH artists, the piece opened a presentation that combined sport, city, and spectacle in a staging designed to transform an institutional act into a memorable experience.
A tribute to Madrid to close the event
After unveiling the official poster for the Formula 1 Tag Heuer Spanish Grand Prix 2026, presenting the official race trophy, and announcing the future Carlos Sainz Grandstand, MADRING experienced its most emotional closing.
WAH artists were in charge of putting the finishing touch to the day with a special interpretation of Madrid, Madrid, Madrid, transforming the closing of the event into an authentic declaration of love for the city.
The performance concluded with the delivery of carnations to the audience, a gesture that turned the last minutes of the event into a collective celebration of the spirit of Madrid and the birth of one of the most ambitious sports projects of recent years.
