Anytime Fitness Iberia continues to strengthen its footprint in the Spanish market and now has 56 operational gyms after the launch of two new centers in Figueres (Girona) and Sabadell (Barcelona), maintaining its forecast of finishing the year with a total of 60 clubs, according to the company.
With these two openings, developed under the franchise model, the brand reaches 56 clubs in operation in Spain and continues to move towards the set goal of reaching 60 before the end of the year.
"That two groups of franchisees who already know our model decide to continue growing with Anytime Fitness is a sign of the trust they place in the brand and in the development opportunities that our network offers. These two new openings also reinforce our presence in Catalonia, a territory that has been key for Anytime Fitness since our arrival in Spain," emphasized the general director of Anytime Fitness Iberia, Tim Devereaux.
After the inaugurations of Figueres and Can Llong, Anytime Fitness surpasses the threshold of 55 active clubs in the country, of which 35 are located in Catalonia, a community that concentrates more than 60% of the national network and continues to be the region with the greatest weight for the brand in Spain.
The gym chain expects to close 2026 with 60 operational clubs in the national territory and exceed 60,000 subscribers. Looking ahead to 2027, its growth plan includes the incorporation of new centers spread throughout Spain, with a special focus on the Community of Madrid and Andalusia.
