CaixaBank has launched, together with Mastercard, a new payment service through virtual cards with the aim of digitizing payments between companies and their suppliers, as the financial entity communicated this Monday.
Specifically, CaixaBank offers companies a platform with which they can create and manage Mastercard virtual cards, valid for paying invoices to any supplier that accepts card payment. Furthermore, it allows for personalized configuration of conditions, amounts, and limits, adjusted to the specific needs of each transaction.
In this way, companies reinforce the security and traceability of their payments, by being able to establish a maximum amount or a specific number of uses, points out CaixaBank. At the same time, manual tasks are minimized thanks to automation and accounting reconciliation with the company's internal systems is streamlined.
On the other hand, the supplier obtains immediate confirmation of payment, while the debit to the client company is made at the closing of the billing period, which provides them with greater liquidity availability.
The entity frames this proposal within its strategy of supporting the digital transformation of the business sector, offering more advanced alternatives than traditional payment methods and providing greater control, flexibility, and visibility over financial flows.
