Grupo Euromadi, the leading multi-sector purchasing and services group in the Spanish market, closed 2025 with aggregate sales of 33,937 million euros, representing an increase of 9% compared to the previous year, as detailed by the company in a statement.

Currently, the purchasing group has an integrated network throughout the national territory that totals 15,160 points of sale spread across Spain, employing 127,000 people.

The company has highlighted that its "firm commitment" to the strategy of project verticalization, applied to all stages of the value chain, has boosted its presence in the mass consumption market to a share of 19% (includes perfumery, cash & carry, and food retail) and close to 15% in the food retail segment, according to Nielsen IQ data. At the same time, household penetration stands at 78.7%, according to Kantar figures.

With these figures, the group consolidates its reference position in Spain as the group with the largest number of establishments and the largest commercial area within the mass consumption sector.

Euromadi is a founding member of European Marketing Distribution (EMD), the largest European group in the sector, which holds a 13% market share in Europe and brings together more than 57,000 points of sale. This alliance generates significant added value thanks to synergies with major international suppliers. Aggregate international sales in 2025 channeled through EMD reached 206,500 million euros.

In its second year of development, Euromadi's 2024-2028 Strategic Plan sets the roadmap for the group's growth, relying on three main levers: efficiency, digitalization, and corporate values.

In this context, verticalization is configured as the basis of the company's business model, with a global and also category-specific approach. This approach allows action on the entire value chain to strengthen competitiveness, facilitate product flow from manufacturer to distributor, and optimize partner profitability.

Throughout the last fiscal year, advances in verticalization projects, in the Commercial Intelligence area, in the Digital HUB, and in the expansion of the logistics platform have become especially relevant, with the aim of adapting to new consumer demands and continuing to lead the sector's evolution. In accordance with its work plan, since last year Euromadi has been implementing all the projects that are part of its strategy until 2028, adjusting to emerging trends in each area and even anticipating them.

The president of Grupo Euromadi, José María Rodríguez, has congratulated himself on the results obtained. "We continue to consolidate our growth, with a turnover close to 34,000 million euros, betting on innovation, efficiency, digitalization, and consumer knowledge, always prioritizing quality and sustainability criteria. We develop personalized plans to improve the competitiveness of our partners, promoting joint management as a fundamental driver to adapt to each territory and be their best business partner," he stressed.

For his part, the general director of Grupo Euromadi, Toni Font, has expressed himself "deeply satisfied" with the results obtained as a result of the "successful implementation" of the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan and the "joint work" of the associates. "These figures place us as the number one purchasing and service center in the food sector in Spain, in market share, points of sale, and commercial surface area," he indicated.
