The real estate fund Grupo Satli, chaired by Jamal Satli Iglesias, announced this Thursday the signing of a strategic alliance with Marriott International and the manager Aimbridge Hospitality to build a new large-scale tourist complex in the Riviera Maya.
The development, whose ownership belongs entirely to Grupo Satli, will occupy an area of 180 hectares and will house 980 rooms, reinforcing the position of the three companies in the luxury all-inclusive resort segment in the Mexican Caribbean.
According to operational planning, the establishment will be operated in a first phase as an independent brand by Aimbridge Hospitality, with the intention of being fully integrated into the Marriott Hotels All-Inclusive portfolio in 2027.
The agreement represents a significant step for the American hotel company, as it will become the first property to operate under the Marriott Hotels & Resorts "all-inclusive" brand in the Riviera Maya area, consolidating its commitment to this type of accommodation in sun and beach destinations.
The addition of this complex expands the portfolio that Aimbridge manages with Marriott brands in Latin American cities such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum.
In terms of facilities, the resort will feature 13 dining spaces and over 4,000 square meters dedicated to events and conferences. Additionally, it will have a 400-linear-meter beachfront.
