Grupo San José closed the first quarter of 2026 with a net profit of 12.55 million euros, which represents an increase of 18.7% compared to the same period of the previous year, according to its latest quarterly accounts submitted this Thursday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
Revenue grew by 13.8%, to over 417 million euros, driven by both the domestic market, which rose by 13.1% to 341 million euros, and activity outside Spain, which progressed by 17.3% to 76.2 million.
By divisions, the construction branch, which accounts for 91% of the total volume, reached revenues of 379 million euros, up 14%, while the concessions and services area registered a turnover of 19.23 million euros, down 5.2%.
The decline in the latter business was offset by the strong increase in income from urban development projects (+47.7% compared to the first three months of 2025) and consolidation adjustments (+55.1% over the figure from 12 months ago), which stood at 2.4 million euros and 14 million, respectively.
Gross operating profit (Ebitda) amounted to 24 million euros, up 20% from a year earlier, representing a profitability margin of 5.8%, or 0.3 percentage points higher than that recorded in March 2025.
In relation to the project portfolio, it increased by 13.7%, reaching 4,130 million euros. Of this amount, 79% corresponds to the construction business, 15% to concessions and services, and the remaining 5% to the energy sector.
As of March 31, 2026, the group's net cash position showed a positive cash balance of 514.99 million euros, 2.2% higher than that recorded in December 2025, while net equity amounted to 305.86 million, an increase of 6.3%.
