The president of the Assembly of Extremadura, Manuel Naharro, has once again highlighted the "historic support" that the community maintains for the Sahrawi people, within the framework of an institutional meeting held this Friday with Allali El-Mami Salima, delegate of the Polisario Front.

According to the Extremaduran Chamber details in a press release, the meeting is part of the region's "commitment" to international cooperation and the defense of the rights of the Sahrawi people.

The meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the regional Parliament in Mérida, served to analyze the current situation in Western Sahara and to study new forms of collaboration between Extremadura and the Sahrawi people, with special attention to humanitarian aid, development cooperation programs, and social awareness initiatives.

During the meeting, El-Mami Salima expressed her gratitude for the "constant support" provided by the Extremaduran institutions.

In this way, the meeting once again highlights the "commitment" of the Assembly of Extremadura to the principles of solidarity, justice, and defense of human rights on the international stage.
