The Summa 112 has provided healthcare attention to a total of 80 people since the fire was declared, of which 15 have had to be transferred to different hospitals, all of them with minor injuries, according to a statement from the Community of Madrid.
Of the total 80 affected, 65 were discharged at the scene of the incident, while the remaining 15 required transfer to public hospital centers, also with a mild prognosis. Between 6:00 PM yesterday and 8:00 AM this morning, emergency services also attended to another 18 involved, including a baby and several firefighters, with no serious injuries detected in any case.
Alongside the work of the Advanced and Basic Life Support teams, numerous interventions from the Emergency Psychology Unit of Summa 112 have been added, which will be responsible for organizing the reinforcement of specialists that will be launched this Saturday in collaboration with the Official College of Psychology of Madrid, in continuous coordination with the psychologists of the Military Emergency Unit (UME).
The SUMMA 112 maintains an operational deployment composed of around a dozen Advanced and Basic Life Support units, supported by the Logistics Support, Health Support, Disaster Coordination, and Operational Command Units.
Additionally, the device includes Non-Urgent Health Transport ambulances intended for the evacuation of residents in social centers and residences when the evacuation of a municipality is decreed. The service also integrates the Advanced Command Post (PMA), which early in the morning has been relocated from Cenicientos to Navalcarnero.
