At least one person has lost their life and another twelve have been injured in a new series of bombings launched in the early hours of this Wednesday against Kiev and its region, according to data provided by Ukrainian authorities.
The Military Administration of Kiev has explained on social media that "At 2:10 a.m. (3:48 a.m. in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands), damage from the attack was recorded in seven locations in the districts of Holosivski, Obolonski, Desnianski, and Sviatoshinski in Kiev," before confirming that, "unfortunately, a woman has died at the hands of the enemy."
Later, this local body has raised the balance of the injured to twelve and has emphasized that "work on the ground continues and information is constantly being updated," referring to the intense wave of attacks that has caused fires and collapses of infrastructure, leaving several civilians trapped among the rubble.
The explosions have also caused an ammonia leak, as detailed by the Military Administration itself, which has specified that "it has already been located" in a tank that contained 300 liters of this compound when it was hit. Nevertheless, it has insisted that "there is no danger to the population."
The attacks have not stopped, according to the governor of the Kiev region, Timur Tkachenko, who has pointed out that "the enemy is launching a massive attack against the Kiev region with ballistic missiles and attack drones."
