At least one Palestinian has lost their life and several more have been injured this Saturday after shots fired by the Israeli Army in the Yabalia refugee camp, located in the north of the Gaza Strip.
Sources familiar with the situation have indicated to the Palestinian newspaper "Filastin" that the shots have been recorded amid the ongoing bombings, which have also reached areas of Khan Yunis, in the south of the enclave, where several people have been injured, including a child.
The number of Palestinians killed by operations carried out by the Israeli Army against the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreed in October 2025, already exceeds the threshold of 1,400, according to figures released by the authorities of the Gaza Strip, under the control of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
Since the beginning of the offensive launched by Israel after the attacks on October 7, 2023 — which caused about 1,200 deaths and nearly 250 kidnappings, according to the official count of the Israeli authorities — more than 73,900 Palestinians have died in the Gaza Strip.
