At least 18 Palestinians have lost their lives, including a child and another minor, and several more people have been injured in a new wave of attacks launched in the early hours of this Sunday by the Israeli Army against different areas of the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire in effect since October 2025.
The first attack, carried out with drones over the Al Sabra neighborhood in the city of Gaza, has resulted in the death of at least four people, three of them belonging to the same family: "Abdulá Adnan Abú al Taif, his wife, Abeer Kamal Kazem Anan, and their son, Azzam Abdulá Abú al Taif, a minor," according to the Palestinian news agency Sanad.
To these victims are added two other deceased, "a man identified as Kamal Nabhan Abú Muailiq and his wife, Huda Jaled Abú Muailiq," in addition to an unspecified number of injured, after the impact of a drone against a residential building in the town of Deir al Balá, located in the central area of the enclave.
Furthermore, another dead person and one with extreme injuries have been recorded in the Yabalia refugee camp, one more fatality in a bombing in the east of the city of Gaza, and two other deceased in a new Israeli attack in Deir al Balá.
On the other hand, the Civil Defense teams of Gaza have reported the death of three people in bombings against the Al Qarara area, in the southern city of Jan Yunis. The victims are the couple "Mahmud Zaki al Hams and Fátima Bahlul, and their son, Ahmed Mahmud al Hams," according to the information released by Sanad.
The other six deceased correspond to two Palestinians, including a child, hit by an Israeli attack near the Al Nur mosque, and four other people killed in an airstrike over Al Saraya, both incidents occurring in the city of Gaza.
The Gazan authorities, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement, specified this Sunday that "1,202 Palestinians have died and 4,076 have been injured by Israeli bombings since the agreement reached between the two parties came into effect in October 2025," a period in which a total of "804 lifeless bodies" have been recovered from the rubble.
Thus, the same sources raise the number of "73,356 fatalities and 174,185 injured since the Israeli Army began its military offensive against the Gaza Strip following the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023."
