The Armed Forces of Iran reported this Friday a new drone offensive against military installations of the United States located in Jordan and Bahrain, in response to what is already the thirteenth consecutive night of bombings on Iranian territory.
According to a statement released by Iranian state television, the public relations office of the Army detailed that "This morning, 'Arash' kamikaze drones attacked fuel tanks, large warehouses, silos, and barracks located in bases belonging to U.S. forces at Isa Air Base in Bahrain."
Within the same operation, Iranian forces have also directed drone attacks against a hangar at Al Azraq base in Jordan. The official note specifies that "There were mercenaries of the U.S. Army hiding there," and warns that "any action that threatens the legitimate and legal interests of the nation and the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran will harm the security and economic interests of other countries in the region."
In parallel, the Jordanian Army has issued a statement, reported by the official agency Petra, stating that "the air defense systems and aircraft of the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and shot down seven missiles and six drones launched from Iran towards the Kingdom." The text also emphasizes that the defensive operation "did not cause casualties or material damage."
The authorities of Bahrain, for their part, have confirmed the widespread activation of alert systems throughout the country in anticipation of new attacks. The Ministry of Interior has indicated in a message disseminated on social media that "Citizens and residents must remain calm and move to the safest place they can find nearby."
