The Israeli Army reported this Sunday the death of two alleged members of the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the context of attacks carried out in the last two days against the Gaza Strip.
According to the military statement, the victims are Salem Gamal Abdel Rahman Abu Labad, who lost his life in an Israeli bombing carried out this Saturday in the south of the Palestinian enclave, and Mahamad Abdel Nazar Mahamad Hatib, killed in an attack carried out on Friday in the central area of the Strip.
A spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) detailed on social media that both "were acting under the command of the armed wing" of Hamas, that is, the Ezzeldin al Qassam Brigades, and pointed out that the first of them would have participated in the attacks launched by Hamas and other Palestinian factions against Israeli territory on October 7, 2023.
"The terrorists (...) were attempting to carry out terrorist operations against our forces," added the military spokesman, who emphasized that the two bombings were "precise."
