The outgoing president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, has charged this Sunday against the Government of Morocco, which he accuses of "surrendering" to the "designs" of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to what he expressed in a message disseminated amid this week's migration crisis in the autonomous city of Ceuta, the Israeli leader intends to "destroy the democratic progressivism of Europe."
"The Moroccan people must stop looking at Spain and concentrate on the own power of Morocco that has surrendered to the design of a genocidal fugitive in the world: Netanyahu," Petro denounced in a message published on social media.
In that same intervention, the Colombian leader related the massive entry of thousands of Moroccans on Thursday and Friday through the Ceuta pier of Tarajal with the "alliance" sealed by dictator Francisco Franco with the "descendants of the ancient caliphate," in a veiled reference to the Regulares who acted as a shock force from the early stages of the 1936 uprising.
"Spain must remember its history written with blood, they want to bring fascism to the Spanish people and the Spanish people must say: They shall not pass. And the Arab civilization must say: They shall not pass," stated the still Colombian president before again pointing to the "fugitive from justice," Netanyahu, who has an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for charges of war crimes and against humanity in Gaza, "who pays the poor of Islam to emigrate to Spain."
"The poor of Islam must obtain the right to decide a real democracy in Morocco. A democratic Arab Morocco, united with the Arab people, to defend the culture and the very essence of what was written in books that, for their wisdom, were sacred: the Bible and the Quran, which speak of love and dialogue," he added.
"They took away the freedom of Palestine and want to destroy the democratic progressivism of Europe. They want to destroy Palestine and the democratic and libertarian essence of all Europe; the essence of Western culture," he added.
Finally, Petro has called for respect for Spain because "it is not Franco the fascist who pays to invade and bomb Guernica or the Arabs to invade the Republic" but "the one who pays is Netanyahu, who killed 22,000 sacred Palestinian babies, there where Jesus was born, and where the sacred and multicultural city of Jerusalem is."
"It is time for dialogue of civilizations and we must stop fascism," concluded the president.
