The Armed Forces of Russia communicated this Thursday that they have carried out a new series of attacks against Ukrainian port infrastructures in the Odesa region, in the south of the country. These bombings are recorded just a few hours after Russian units struck logistical centers and vessels in the same coastal area.
In an official note, the Russian Ministry of Defense has pointed out that, as a consequence of these operations in the port of Odesa, "several facilities used for loading, unloading, and storage of products and equipment for military use" by Ukraine have been hit.
The department has added that several Russian attack drones struck an industrial ship where components for unmanned aerial vehicles were being manufactured, as well as against a warehouse that housed drones intended for the Ukrainian Army.
On the previous day, Russian forces had already attacked infrastructures of similar characteristics in Chornomorsk, south of Odesa. So far, Ukrainian authorities have not reported any possible fatalities or injuries as a result of these attacks.
This same Thursday, the Russian Ministry of Defense has raised to 223 the number of Ukrainian drones intercepted over Russian territory, with special incidence in regions such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Moscow, Oryol, Orenburg, Ryazan, Rostov, Samara, Saratov, and Tula, among other areas mentioned by Moscow.
