Six people have lost their lives after the helicopter in which they were traveling crashed in an area located southeast of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, according to information provided this Wednesday by the country's Minister of Information, Nick Mangwana.
"The Government wishes to confirm that a helicopter accident has occurred involving a prominent businessman, three other passengers, and two pilots," he stated on his social media, emphasizing that "there were no survivors" after the disaster.
The government official explained that, for the moment, the authorities have not released the identities of the deceased, as the Police continue with the identification of the bodies. Once this circumstance is detailed, the minister has conveyed the "deepest condolences" of the Executive to the relatives of the victims "in these very difficult times."
