Six people have been injured after the impact of a projectile fired by the Houthi rebel militias from Yemen against a residential area of the Saudi city of Najran, according to the country's authorities.
"A hostile projectile has impacted the city of Najran leaving 6 citizens injured and causing material damage to three homes and three vehicles," the Saudi Civil Defense explained in a statement.
The authorities of Saudi Arabia have emphasized that this type of attack against infrastructure and civilian population constitutes "a flagrant violation of International Humanitarian Law."
Hours later, Civil Defense has issued a new note warning that the recording, dissemination, or sending of any information related to anti-aircraft systems or impact points may entail legal consequences for those responsible.
