The President of the United States, Donald Trump, reiterated this Tuesday that the current campaign of attacks against Iran, which is now in its fourth consecutive night, "will continue" until he himself says "enough is enough," and warned that the offensive will be toughened if Tehran does not "sit down at the table and negotiate."

In an interview with the Fox network, the president recalled that "two days ago we had an agreement and then they broke it at the last moment," and insisted that the attacks against Iran "will continue until I say enough is enough."

Although he boasted of having "achieved" his objectives in the Islamic Republic, Trump maintained that "the only way to negotiate" with the Iranian leadership is "through force." He then equated Iran with a "great boxer" who, despite having been "degraded to a very low level," "suddenly recovers and throws a punch."

"They have some strength left to fight, but not much," stated the Republican leader, who immediately after threatened "very strong" attacks during Tuesday night, as well as on Wednesday and Thursday.

In this same vein, the president went further and warned that "next week it will get very bad" for the Iranian population, as, he stressed, it will be "the turn of the power plants" and bridges.

"We are going to take out all of their power plants. We are going to take out all of their bridges, unless they sit down at the table and negotiate," he warned, arguing that, in his opinion, Tehran "has no other option" but to accept a deal.

The words of the head of the US executive come the same day that the US Army carried out a new wave of airstrikes on Iranian territory and also announced the implementation of a blockade of the country's ports starting at 10:00 PM this Tuesday (Spanish peninsular time).

Moments later, Iranian authorities confirmed several impacts on their territory, according to information disseminated by the Tasnim news agency, close to the Revolutionary Guard. They have pointed out explosions caused by American projectiles in four locations in Hormozgan province, opposite the Strait of Hormuz, including its capital, Bandar Abbas, as well as in the city of Ahvaz, in Khuzestan province, at the northern end of the Persian Gulf. So far, they have indicated that no casualties or damage to civilian or residential infrastructure have been registered.
