The Armed Forces of Ukraine have communicated this Sunday that they have carried out attacks against several infrastructures in Russian territory, including the airbase of Engels, in the Saratov region, as well as an oil refinery located in the Kaluga region, near Moscow.

The Ukrainian Army has indicated that "damage" has occurred, including a fire, at the Saratov oil refinery, which it describes as "one of the largest oil refining facilities in the Volga region," after being hit by their operations in the early hours of this Sunday.

According to the statement disseminated on their social networks, the plant, with an annual production capacity of around seven million tons of crude, supplies the "military-industrial complex and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation."

Additionally, Ukrainian authorities have reported a fire at the Engels airfield, described as "one of the main Russian bases for strategic aviation, where the Tu-95MS and Tu-160 bombers are based, which are regularly used to launch missile attacks against Ukrainian territory."

At the same time, in the Kaluga region, Ukrainian forces have "reached" the Yudinovo oil base, responsible for the storage and supply of fuels and lubricants to the Russian Army, as well as a facility for "storage, preparation, and launch" of attack drones located in the Navli area, in the Russian region of Bryansk.
