At least three people have lost their lives and another 15 have been injured after a violent explosion recorded this afternoon near a café located in the center of Moscow, according to an initial report provided by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The blast occurred in the vicinity of Kudrinskaya Square, in the heart of the Russian capital, around 8:10 PM (7:10 PM in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands), in an area where one of the most representative buildings of the city stands, the imposing skyscraper designed by Mikhail Posokhin during the Stalinist era.
According to the official statement, agents from the General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow have arrived at the scene of the incident and are working on the ground to gather more information and clarify what happened.
