"Housing policies are denying us the right to a decent roof, condemning us to allocate an ever-larger portion of our salaries to landlords, leaving us in vulnerable situations, where many families live in anguish deciding between buying food for their children or paying the landlords," they explain in a letter in which they also point to certain entities linked to the Church as aggravating factors in this situation: "Unfortunately, real estate speculation has reached entities of the Catholic Church itself".
