On the occasion of May 2nd, the day of the Community of Madrid, Demócrata analyzes who are the Madrid politicians with the most digital power. Mónica García's announcement to run in the Más Madrid primaries to contest the presidency of the Community against Isabel Díaz Ayuso has been the starting gun for the electoral contest, one year before the elections.
Precisely, Ayuso leads this top 10 for another week, accompanied by Emilio Delgado and Manuela Bergerot. This is confirmed by the Poder Digital ranking, the application developed by Vinces, which compiles and organizes public information about the digital activity of political representatives and displays it through transparent and objective rankings.
The application that you can consult in Demócrata, measures the real capacity, the digital power, of a political actor to connect with voters and lead the public conversation on X, Instagram and LinkedIn, expressed on a scale of 0 to 100. The index is obtained by applying the RIO formula (Regularity, Interactions and Originality), which weighs key aspects of their digital presence: the size and quality of their audience, the impact of their messages and recent activity, reviewing up to 30 publications from the last 60 days.
Top 10:
- Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid and of the PP of the Community of Madrid
- Emilio Delgado, deputy for Más Madrid in the Assembly of Madrid
- Manuela Bergerot, deputy for Más Madrid in the Assembly of Madrid and co-spokesperson
- Mónica García, Minister of Health and co-spokesperson for Más Madrid
- Mar Espinar, deputy for the PSOE in the Assembly of Madrid and spokesperson
- Rita Maestre, councilor in the Madrid City Council for Más Madrid and co-spokesperson
- Óscar López, Minister of Digital Transformation and Public Function and general secretary of the PSOE of the Community of Madrid
- Ismael Sirio, deputy for the PP in the Assembly of Madrid
- Carla Antonelli, deputy for Más Madrid in the Assembly of Madrid and senator
- Santiago Rivero, deputy for the PSOE in the Assembly of Madrid
Unrivaled
The president of the CAM achieves one more week being number one in this ranking. Ayuso not only leads the Madrid digital power, she is also the woman with the most influence, and at a national level she is only surpassed by the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.
Accompanying him on the podium are, Emilio Delgado, deputy for Más Madrid in the Assembly of Madrid and his benchmate Manuela Bergerot, who is also co-spokesperson for the left-wing party. In 4th place, very closely following him is Mónica García.
The Minister of Health announced a week ago her intention to return to the Madrid political arena, unleashing a serious internal crisis. When García jumped to the central government, Bergerot took over the spokesperson role for her group in the Assembly; she became one of the most recognizable faces of Más Madrid and the voice that confronts Ayuso in control sessions.
In parallel, Emilio Delgado carved out his own profile until he emerged as a strong candidate to lead the progressive party's lists in the 2027 elections. Furthermore, alongside Gabriel Rufián, he starred in an event about the future of the left that also aroused suspicion within his own ranks.
López does not stand out
Although Ayuso has no rival, the truth is that Más Madrid is, by far, the party with the most digital power in the CCAA. Six politicians from their party are in the top 10. To those already mentioned, we must add Rita Maestre, who occupies sixth place and Carla Antonelli, who this week achieves the ninth highest score. However, on the PP's side there is only one more representative: the Assembly deputy Ismael Sirio (8th).
On the other hand, García is not the only minister present in the Madrid ecosystem. The head of Digital Transformation and Public Function, Óscar López, and general secretary of the Madrid socialists occupies seventh place. However, he is not the PSOE leader with the most digital power. That medal is held by Mar Espinosa, spokesperson for her party in the Regional Chamber. Santiago Rivero, a socialist deputy also in the Assembly, closes this week's ranking.
As far as Vox is concerned, after the expulsion of Ortega Smith, the party led by Santiago Abascal, which has experienced a serious internal crisis, is left without relevant figures in the 'Digital Power' top.
