Leaders and representatives of the PP and Vox are scheduled to attend this Saturday's demonstration promoted by Sociedad Civil Española to demand the "immediate" resignation of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, for the "disaster" to which, in their opinion, he is leading Spain.

The mobilization, driven by Sociedad Civil Española, which brings together more than 150 civic associations, will start at 10:30 AM in Madrid's Plaza de Colón and, as the organizers have detailed, will conclude around 12:30 PM at the Arco de Moncloa.

The organizing entity defends the convenience of this protest, which is held under the slogan 'Sánchez, resign now!', arguing that "the indignation of Spaniards in the face of the direction the Government is taking the country is a clamor." Likewise, it encourages attendees to participate with "banners and their own identifying symbols."

Fúster and other Vox leaders will attend the protest

In the case of Vox, the presence of the national spokesperson and party leader in Madrid, José Antonio Fúster, is planned; several national sectoral spokespersons, including Isabel Pérez Moñino (Agenda España), Samuel Vázquez (Interior and Security), and Ainhoa García (Family); as well as other spokespersons and deputies of Congress, according to sources from the party told Europa Press.

The think tank Atenea, presided over by Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, has also confirmed its attendance; the former leader and founder of Vox, Alejo Vidal-Quadras; and the Zionist organization Acción y Comunicación sobre Oriente Medio (ACOM).

The PP will be present although Feijóo will be in the Balearic Islands

Sources from the national leadership of the PP have assured Europa Press that the party will have representation at the march, although they have not yet specified which officials will attend the call.

In any case, they have specified that neither the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, nor the secretary general, Miguel Tellado, will attend, as both will travel that day to the Balearic Islands to participate in the congress of the Balearic PP, where Marga Prohens will be re-elected as regional president.

"We will be represented at this demonstration, which also passes by Calle Génova," indicated the consulted sources, who have advanced that the PP will attend without party flags because it does not intend to "monopolize" the protest, unlike what, according to their predictions, Vox might try.

The PP of Madrid, led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, will also join the call. Thus, a delegation from the Popular Group in the Assembly of Madrid and members of the regional leadership will attend, according to sources from the organization who explained to Europa Press.

From 'Génova' they have reproached one of the promoters of the march for the "criticisms" that in recent days he has directed at the PP on social networks, emphasizing that this "is not the best way to ask the party to support this demonstration". Despite considering this behavior "incorrect", the PP "respects and supports this call to demand Pedro Sánchez's resignation," the same sources added.

A few days ago, Marcos de Quinto --businessman, former Ciudadanos deputy, and close to Vox-- lashed out on social networks against the PP's opposition work, stating that "Génova 13 is turning the PP into a joke" and demanding that Feijóo's party demonstrate its "indignation" by taking to the streets this Saturday.

"Please, join the #MarchaPorLaDignidad on May 23rd once and for all and let's gather 1M people demanding Sánchez's resignation," Marcos de Quinto wrote on his 'X' account, where he also urged the PP to register a motion of no confidence that, according to him, they are "denying to good Spaniards."

In another message published on May 16th on the same social network, Marcos de Quinto maintained that neither Spain nor the PP "deserve a guy like Feijóo, who did not even deign to respond to the invitation made to him to support this march." "He has too much arrogance and bad manners and lacks what he should have," he concluded.
