The Minister of National Security of Israel, Itamar Ben Gvir, has launched a sarcastic message to the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, following the migratory crisis unleashed in the autonomous city of Ceuta, and has urged him to "give refuge to all the population of Gaza that wishes to emigrate."

According to the President of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, in recent days tens of thousands of people, around 60,000, have entered the city from Morocco, which has caused a migratory emergency that has led several partners of the European Union to demand the temporary suspension of Spain from the Schengen area.

In this context, Ben Gvir, known for his extremist positions against Palestinians and for advocating ethnic cleansing in Gaza, has written on his social media: "My congratulations to the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, for his deep commitment to welcoming immigration and "human diversity"."

"As someone who shows great concern for Hamas and the residents of Gaza," Ben Gvir continued, "I call on you to translate words into actions: open the doors of Spain and grant refuge to the residents of Gaza who are seeking to emigrate" in what he has described as an "excellent opportunity to contribute a little more to the "human diversity" of Spain.
