Grup Solucions has launched new offices in Sant Fruitós del Bages (Barcelona), with an area of 600 square meters, with the aim of reinforcing its short and medium-term growth and increasing its turnover by 30% in 2026, to exceed 1.5 million euros, as explained by the engineering and environment consultancy this Monday in a statement.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of the Government, Luis Planas, and the Minister of Agriculture of the Generalitat, Òscar Ordeig, along with the company's director, Ricard Planas; the mayor of Sant Fruitós, Joan Carles Batanés, and various representatives of the economic, political and social fabric of the area.
Planas stressed that it is a company that reflects "what companies in the primary sector should do" and activity linked to waste management and projects committed to the territory, while Ordeig remarked that it is an exemplary company that will gain weight in the projects that Catalonia needs.
Along with the expected increase in turnover, the company also wants to double its workforce in two years, incorporating profiles such as engineers - industrial, public works and agricultural - architects, environmentalists, biologists or economists.
"The main challenge we face is attracting talent, we want the best professionals in the territory, and here we offer them a career with transformative projects and with a positive impact in the areas of the primary sector and waste management," said the company's director.
