Olive oil maintains its position at the forefront of Andalusian agri-food products with the highest foreign billing, exceeding 1.425 billion euros between January and May 2026. According to data prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development, international sales of this product have recorded a decrease of 10.5% in value compared to the same period of the previous year, although it continues to be the main exporting reference of the community.
In a press release, the Junta has detailed that the second place in the ranking is occupied by fresh peppers, which approach 768 million euros in the first five months of the year thanks to the export of almost 299 tons.
This result implies an increase of just over 9% in value and 1.5% in volume compared to the same period of 2025. Fresh strawberries rank as the third product with the highest value exported from Andalusia between January and May, exceeding 648 million euros, which represents almost 2% more than in the same months of the previous year.
In terms of quantity, about 205 tons have been marketed outside of Spain, 2.9% more than in 2025. Next are cucumbers, which total almost 530 million euros from international sales of more than 300 tons between January and May 2026. Compared to 2025, this figure reflects an increase of 21% in value and 2.2% in weight.
In the case of tomato exports during the first five months of 2026, the evolution has been especially favorable on the economic front. Specifically, the report prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture points to a year-on-year increase of more than 15% reaching 384.4 million euros this year.
Zucchini, positioned in the sixth step of the ranking, even improves this dynamic by recording an advance of 36.6% in value and reaching 285.6 million euros by May 2026. Raspberries (251.8 million euros), table olives (almost 250 million euros), avocados (227.6 million euros), and blueberries (216.2 million euros) complete the group of the ten Andalusian agri-food products with the highest exported value in the first five months of 2026.
In total, the agri-food exports of Andalusia between January and May of this year have exceeded 3.4 million tons, with a total value of 8.165 billion euros. This economic figure represents an increase of 1.6% compared to the value of beverages and food sent abroad in the first five months of 2025.
