Nordex, the German wind turbine group in which the Spanish Acciona participates, obtained a net profit of 165.1 million euros in the first half of 2026, which means multiplying by four the 38.8 million achieved in the same period of the previous year.

In those first six months, revenue advanced by 13.8%, reaching 3.766 billion euros. The gross operating result (Ebitda) rose to 354.5 million euros, an 88.8% increase, with a margin of 9.4% compared to the 5.7% recorded a year earlier, according to its latest income statement.

"Only in the second quarter of the year did our margins reach 10.3% and we generated positive cash flow. With the backing of a total order book of 18.4 billion euros, we confirm our forecasts for the entire year 2026," said its CEO, José Luis Blanco.

In the Projects division, the accumulated order intake in the first six months of the year rose by 13.3%, surpassing 4.683 billion euros. Meanwhile, new contracts in the Services area grew by 44.6%, reaching 1.201.8 billion euros in the first half of the year.

On the operational front, turbine production in the second quarter totaled 1,953 MW, a 23.1% increase compared to the same period in 2025. During that period, the group installed 211 wind turbines in 15 countries, adding 1,168 MW of new capacity, of which Europe accounted for 87%.

As of the end of June 2026, Nordex's net cash position amounted to 1.673.3 billion euros, reinforcing the strength of its balance sheet. The equity ratio improved to 20.6%, compared to the 19.0% with which the 2025 fiscal year ended.

Following the release of these results, the company's shares recorded strong gains on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, with a rise of 6.5% at midday, reaching 39.7 euros per share, in a movement also supported by the 5% advance of Acciona Energía, also integrated into the Acciona group.
