Revolut, the neobank, has concluded this Wednesday a new financing operation through a secondary sale of shares owned by its employees, which has set the company’s valuation at $115 billion (€102 billion), as the company detailed in a statement.
The transaction, launched last July, had the leadership of Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. and Baillie Gifford, which were already among the sector’s major investors in technology and finance.
In 2024, Revolut had already closed a secondary sale of securities that placed its valuation at $45 billion (about €39.4 billion). Subsequently, in November 2025, another similar operation raised that figure to $75 billion (around €65 billion). The new transaction, which sets the value at $115 billion (€102 billion), implies an increase of more than 53% compared to the previous operation.
In this context, the company has emphasized that "the strength of the business and its rapid expansion into new international markets" have driven strong investor appetite, both among Revolut’s traditional partners and among new international funds interested in its growth.
As for the timeline, the ‘fintech’ expected to close the process during the month of August, although it has ultimately been extended until this November. At the same time, the exact share price has not been officially disclosed, although industry sources have already told Europa Press that it would be around two dollars per share.
The operation coincides with a phase of strong expansion for Revolut. Since the beginning of 2026, the firm has rolled out its banking services in the United Kingdom, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand, while also obtaining banking licenses in France, Colombia and Argentina, in addition to receiving the OCC’s conditional approval for its application for a national banking license in the United States. All of this complements its already established presence in Europe, where it operates as a bank in 30 markets of the European Economic Area (EEA).
This international expansion is supported by its financial results. In 2025, Revolut’s revenue increased by 46%, to $6 billion (€5.3 billion), while profit before tax rose by 57%, to $2.3 billion (€2.04 billion), with a profit before tax margin of 38%.
The new milestone confirms the pace of expansion and Revolut’s global projection, which keeps as a long-term goal surpassing 100 million active customers across more than 100 countries.
"Each new bank we set up allows more people, wherever they live, to have access to a better way to manage their money. Our team is what makes it possible, and that employees are also owners of the company has been a central pillar of our culture since day one. That is why, once again, we have given them the opportunity to participate in the value they have generated," the CEO and founder of Revolut, Nik Storonsky, emphasized.
