The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, held a telematic meeting this Monday with the so-called Group of Friends of Competitiveness, in which he addressed the challenges facing the European economy and advocated for progress in the integration of the internal market and in the energy transition.
"Today I held a videoconference with the Group of Friends of Competitiveness. Europe must strengthen its capacity to innovate, attract investment, and generate opportunities. We must bet on harmonization in the internal market and advance in decarbonization to drive sustainable growth," the president highlighted in a message on social networks.
The Group of Friends of Competitiveness is an informal forum that brings together different European leaders with the aim of promoting and coordinating the competitiveness agenda within the European Union.
