Santander Asset Management (AM) has strengthened its equity investments department with the arrival of four new analysts and managers, thereby raising to 11 the total number of specialists working under the supervision of Rocío Maldonado, as the asset manager itself has announced.

Among the new hires, Verónica Pérez-Campanero stands out, who joins Santander AM as a senior manager coming from Ennismore Fund Management, after having developed her professional career at Artemis, Capital Group and Goldman Sachs.

Thanks to these hires, the investments team based in Spain will now be responsible for managing all the firm’s European equity strategies, which includes both international funds domiciled in Luxembourg as well as the group’s local vehicles and mandates in different markets, including Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Chile.

The new additions to the team will also help to further deepen the active management approach applied to the strategy of the fund "Santander AM European Equity".

This vehicle aims to outperform the "MSCI Europe Net Total Return" over an investment horizon of between 3 and 5 years.
